Recommendation for Chandlers please - between M25 and the Crouch

The chandlers in Burnham are all up for a bit of a deal.

Marinestore have quite a lot of specials, join the email list. Last years anti foul was a complete steal.

Stretch down at Mailspeed is good on normal stuff.

However, if you have cash (no cards please) go and see Barry at Dauntless Yard on Canvey. An absolute gold mine and vv cheap.

I know where there are chandlers between (ish) home and my new berth on the Crouch, but I don't know what the local knowalls would suggest are best (or best avoided).

Any suggestions please?

We have a TCS branch branch in Southend and their prices are pretty good. Nobody beats Barry at Dauntless though and he will get stuff in for you. Loads of stuff there - even bits of teak.

Must admit i think the service at Mailspeed Burnham has gone downhill since they made redundancies at the back end of last year.

I left messages asking for them to ring me back and they just didn't bother. Will probably switch my normal visits to Marinestore unless there are some special offers i can see on the web at Mailspeed.
