recommend me a supplier of boat electrical bits ?

Hi Whisper_Snapper, Richard here.

I've just received an email regarding your post, so thought I'd better get registered on here ASAP and drop you a line back. Firstly, apologies for not responding to your enquiry, I've checked my emails, but nothing came up, so I've checked my email server and notice I have a problem with incoming mail. I'll be looking into the problem tonight, anyway, very sorry about that, blooming computers!

Anyway, now might be a good time to explain about rjsmarine. I started up just under a year ago, primarily as a hobby after heart surgery. I got into programming and with the help of Open Source software built the website. My idea was to source and supply only marine grade electrical products, I don't want to get involved with GPS, VHF's and all that, just good old 'nuts & bolts'.

I'm now a main dealer for Merlin Power Systems down in Poole and also, as of last week, an official dealer for Blue Sea Systems :o

As for a lot of the prices showing up as £0.00, that's simply because I haven't had time to price everything up yet, although I'll be busy typing away this evening to fill in a few more of the blanks. I think, given that bit of feedback, I'll put the site to display 'call for price' instead of £0.00, I think that would be a lot better.

I do have 18AWG in stock, also the Female crimp connectors you mention. The Dual USB charger sockets are a new addition to the Blue Sea range and I don't have a price for them at the moment, but I'll find out in the morning for you.

So, I'm very sorry for not getting back in touch, I hope you understand though. If anybody else has experienced this problem over the past few days, then could I be cheeky and ask you to give me a call please? Also, please don't be put off by the websites lack of 'polish', if there's anything anybody needs, it's probably best to call me rather than relying on what I've managed to put 'online' just yet.

Cheers, Richard
