First of all I want to thank those of you who provided me with the Dover tide times about ten days ago. My return from Vannes, via Ile De Grois, through the Raz de Sein to Andierne, to Cameret, through the Chanel de Four, on to L' Aberwrach and ultimately accross the channel this monday last in force fives & sixes was exhilarating to say the least and although this was not in a Classic boat was a 'first' for me and taught me some valuable lessons especially sailing across the shipping lanes.
The ability to work out the best times to leave France and to arrive near Plymouth at Newton Ferrers by using GPs information, /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifplotting on the chart and being able to provide course to steer information for the first time since passing the Yachtmaster theory proved very rewarding. Maybe one day I will have the opportunity to sail over in a Classic boat, who knows but thanks again chaps.
All the best.
