When dealing with companies on the Internet, or when purchasing things, How do you know the company that you are buying from are a reputable company??
I have bought a fair amount of stuff over the net in the past, And so far not had a problem.
I am thinking about purchasing This company and could reassure me??

Also views on the product would be much appreciated.
The reason i thought about the EU20i and not the EU10i was for using it as possible backup incase of power failure at either home or work.

Cheers.

Alistair.

Hello Alistair,

I was told tonight that Makro Glasgow were selling (Saturday) a smaller generator for £49 + vat. I can't remember the make or size (beer time on my part) but at that price it may be worth a look if it's only for occasional use.

Regards Jim.

Don't tell me - you want to run a toaster?

You can't really tell how good a business's service will be until you've tried it (unless recommended by somebody who has tried it).

Are they likely to do a runner with your money? I'd say 'no' - principally because the web site is sophisticated and expensive so clearly not a scam.

According to the website, the business is incorporated as Calgary Just Companies Ltd. If you want to go a bit further, you can see how long the business has been incorporated at Dream Dancer

Just Generators sell on ebay and have 100% positive feedback so I'd assume they are OK.

Have a look here you can see what others think of their service.

IMHO, if you're able to pay with a major credit card, it's probably as risk free as it's going to get. The CC insurance and the financial checks they do on the vendors before giving them an account is a reasonable safeguard.

E&OE. Subject to contract. This advice is non-actionable. If it goes wrong it's not my fault.

Thanks all for your replies.
Jim, I've seen the one at Makro, Its output is only 600w and its about twice the size, So it doesn't really interest me, But yes it is a good price.

Thanks to all, The company does seem to check out ok, and they are the cheapest i can find so i may just go ahead and order it.

Cheers

Alistair.
