The fatlady kindly accepted my offer to come out today on the "Foist" What a fantastic time we had, and did I ever learn some stuff today, like how good a MF625 is when the going gets a bit tough. Went to Cowes, Osbourne Bay, Wooton Point (I think) across to Pompey and back to the Hamble. 47 miles, engine never missed a beat, we had waves over the roof and she just shoved it all aside with John at the helm showing me how it's done. Like wow, what a trip. Thanks John, a trip to treasure, forgot camera but I used the camera on the 'phone to get "obligatory wake shot". An excellent trip and couldn't have picked a better guest, I really learned some useful stuff. Thanks again, John.

I used to have a MF625 - dogs nads. Loved it so much that I traded up to a MF805. Bit too big for me to handle alone but with a new family it was a bit less lad and a lot more ah !

They are crackin hulls - if you think the 625 pushes the water - get a ride in a 805. I've got my eyes on a 925 when the bonus pays up ....

WOW! I am so glad you got out in the MF625. We have done a few trips in ours now and just love it.

We are hoping to get to the Solent area next week... not yet finalised but if we do perhaps we could contrive to meet up with any forumites that fancy a beer. I will post on Friday/Saturday if it looks on.

Nice one.

The overall "Picture" of these type of hulls seems to be quite good.
Don't know about the "Trailer" though!

Apolgise to the above Posters.

Just got me coat on!

We had a good day and I thoroughly enjoyed getting out on the water. Wind was upper end of F5 S/SW gusting a bit more, lumpy at times, flat in the lee of the Island.

I've never been out in one of these boats before, but it handled well and manoeuvred well around head-on lumps without slamming, unless caught unawares. Good first boat.

We even saw a dolphin alongside off Portsmouth - and got warned away from Ark Royal by a very nice man with a machine gun.

Thanks, Ian for a very enjoyable day out.

P.S. It was Wootton Creek
