I have to touch up an epoxy coated wooden rudder blade where wear scores and scrapes have worn through the epoxy. A few square inches is about all that is needed before priming and paint.
The smallest quantities of resin offered by West etc are far too big and I'll lose most of it as it doesn't store long term. Looking at "Envirotex Jeweler's Grade Clear Epoxy Resin" and wondering if it would do. 4 ounces for £11.
Will it do the trick?

You dont say where you are. If you did maybe someone would be able to let you have small quantity that they have left over from another job.

Don't you have a local boatyard? Mine is always happy to sell me small volumes of resin and hardener plus fillers etc if appropriate for a negligible sum of money.
