Found a reference to a breathable suit on one of the fora (sorry can't remember where) but bought one for HWMBO - its really good quality - so much so that I've just ordered one for myself. The good news is that its excellent value at £70 - the bad news is they're discontinuing them.

Visit All gadgets. Look for Shop and then Century Brand.

Please note that I have no commercial connection - other than being a satisfied customer. I just wish HWMBO had agreed to express delivery - he wouldn't have got wet 6 times last weekend !

I bought a medium and a large size. Sizes are pretty accurate as described, but as I am at the top end of the medium size range I find I can wear the medium size, or the large if wearing thick sweaters as well. I liked them so much I have ordered a small one for my partner, who found the medium size a little to big for her. Keeping the medium for a third crew member. Hoping to find a boat whilst on holiday next two weekks.

Surely you don't have to wear waterproofs on your boat? If we don't on ours, surely a boat with the 'proper' number of hulls doesn't get you cold & wet? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Must admit it is great to be sat in the cockpit just wearing a fleece on top of normal clothes looking at half boats where 2/3 crew are sat on the rail of a well heeled over boat, and they all look soaking wet and miserabe as sin /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hmm but we don't have to rush around looking for the covers for the barbecue and garden furniture as soon as there's a little spray flying. Don't have to worry about locking the patio doors either. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree - excellent value, but get in fast - it's a clearance sale!

They quote 2-3 days delivery but it came next day - be prepared for that!

Mind you I haven't been out in the splashies with them yet but they were very cosy on the creek burglar-watch last night in the fog!
