I suppose that fellow and fellowess falorumites are not much bothered with the prospect of being filmed live for TV the next time we’re unfortunate enough to need the services of the RNLI .... but, once Sid & Doris Bonkers understand that, more often than not, its gremlins in the mechanics that bring out the RNLI, they'll be spilling their bile and vitriol to the floggers and hang 'em section of the Daily Torygraph, Mail, Mirror etc demanding action which will do neither us nor the RNLI any good ... ?

So it won't be a salvage contract to sign before the rescue - it'll be a TV contract. Will we be able to insist on that nice blurry thing over our faces?

My 15 minutes of fame finally beckons. Something with a dramatic well recognised back drop will probably stand more chance of escaping the cutting room floor, and making it to TV.

Right, I'm off tomorrow to ram the Needles at full speed.

err....when do they start filming?
