I have an out of the way (not easily visible so not concours standard!!!) external panel under my dashboard that has had some small (and not so small) holes cut into it by a previous owner.

Until I get around to replacing the whole panel I want to fill the holes.

Can someone recommend a decent exterior white GRP filler that will cope with filling pound-coin-sized-holes without too much preparation...and without painting or anything afterwards.

I can unscrew the panel so can lay it flat for the stuff to set in place and harden.

Doesn't need to be too pretty but smooth (easy to clean) and hard wearing because it does get kicked a bit...

Cheers

There is an Isopon P40 hole filler that should be available from Halfords and car accessory shops that is a pre-mixed GRP paste requiring only the addition of activator.

It is pretty thick so you may be able to do the repair in situ

Isopon P40 hole filler

[/ QUOTE ] P40 is a resin mixed with some glass fibre strands. The resin/glass paste is a sort of yellowish colour but the hardener is red so the end result is pale pink . It would be possible to spray it white though.

It would be necessary to fill from behind against something smooth held firmly in place.

I think P40 might manage hole of nearly an inch but probably not much bigger.

I think blanking plugs would be the better idea.
