Readers\' Wives

There was passing reference to the photos in the "Our Med" section of this month's MBY in a post the other day, but I hadn't seen the pix at that point, so couldn't work out what everyone was going on about.

I bought a copy of the magazine to read on the train last night and became uncomfortably aware that the woman sitting in the next seat to me was looking disapprovingly at me, and at the offending photos.

I have to be honest, and confess that, whilst I heartily approve of women with no clothes on, (though possibly these particular women should have kept theirs on) I felt very uncomfortable about the pix in MBY. It's not what I buy it for and I think they'd have been better off unpublished.

Oh Gawd! Between this and my Matrix post, I'm turning into a right old git.......

Then again, the blond that has been appearing in MBM tests recently: slightly cuddly shape, windswept hair and a winning smile: I can't see myself ever cancelling my subscription while she stays...

I'm really not the embarrassable type, but I think she thought I was reading a porn mag, hence the waves of disapproval from her and the not inconsiderable mortification from me. Mind you, she may just have been thinking "Christ! What an ugly b*gg*r"! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There was actually a court-case about six years ago where a bloke on a train was arrested for indecent rummaging beaneath a magazine he had open on his lap...the magazine was Motor Boat & Yachting (insert your own publishing company middle-management joke here).

I didn't find it offensive, just tasteless

The previous two contributors to "My Med" were both forumites, if then one is then I am sorry but they are not good pics.

Unless they are thigh length black boots of course ?

So would you tell her to take them off and only put them on again when below deck to avoid spiking the fibreglass?
