Reactive resins gone into liquidation.

Absolutely gutted about this, just went to their website to order some more of their awesome (blush free) epoxy resin to find a notice on their front page. I'm really pissed off as having used many different resins over the years (including all the usual over-priced suspects) their products by far offered the most versatility and value for money in my opinion.

Hope they can find a way to get back on their feet again.

Yep its the only epoxy ive ever used in the winter months where you didn't need to heat it up to use or physically drag it out the drum like you have to with wests & SP, but then whenever the subject of 'epoxy' pops up on these fora someone will chime in with the same old link to the same old manufacturer - gutted............

I messaged them some time ago, and they told me due to legal proceedings they couldn't sell me any more of their epoxy antifouling copper product. Next I'd looked they were in liquidation.

The wording of the notice was curious. Were they producing or selling the resins under licence from someone else?

From my dealings with them they'd formulate whatever you wanted if they didn't have it on the shelf and you could buy it direct from them whether that was under licence i wouldn't know. Just a shame really as i have a few automotive and boat parts to make and using reactive resins stuff made the job a breeze.

The thought of going back to one of the other more established brands makes me a bit nervous knowing that resins characteristics.
