Re-wiring windlass

I have a wiring advice question, my windlass is currently wired to a 70 amp circuit breaker and toggle using heavy duty wiring to the switches, this isn't practical and makes removing the panel a pain. I plan to rewire it using a 80 amp relay and regular size cables from the relay to the toggle on/off switch.

The 70 amp circuit breaker would then be fitted between the relay and the windlass control box.

Have I got this right? Is there any problem with introducing a relay into the circuit?

Perhaps I should just look for a proper windlass / circuit breaker switch?

No, but you probably need more than 80A.

thanks, i've opted to just go for a 70amp breaker which you pull out to disconnect the windlass
