Has anyone ever tried it on covers?

The cover on Aviator was pretty wet this morning, thinking i could paint some of the liquid water proofing stuff on it to protect it a little more???

I've used Fabsil for years and don't think you can beat it. Not cheap but worth it. If you paint it on it seems to ge nowhere, so as suggested better if you decant it into sprayer or buy aerosol

Howard, I have used Fabsil, it is good. I tend to get the cans and decant into a water sprayer bottle and apply, no good if windy!

I did exactly this on an old cover I had. Towsure stock it at a reasonable price, get a five litre tin and a water spray bottle and you've got several years worth of supply. Do take the cover off and apply away from the boat, Fabsil is great on a cover but not on decks!

thanks everyone!

was planning on taking the cover off and negotiating with the dogs to let it dry in the conservatory, then do it at home.

Will try and get some this weekend and thanks for the tip on the spray!!

Cheers

Sounds like there is a consensus favorite but if you struggle to get the Renovo i have used Nikwax on a cockpit cover, sun roof cover and hatch cover - applied two coats by the spray bottle as recommended and after 9 months drizabone all round.
