its coming from the shaft lipseals and if you leave it will probably shag the shaft if it hasnt already. a known prob on the early models (before i get shot down am pretty certain its the same as the 2030) easy enough job to do and when you have done put some grease in the lip/spring area every year and it will last for ever. if you are unlucky it will cost mid £150s for a new shaft etc. go to benteau-owners-association.org.uk and tech tips for the workshop manual in pdf format
