Hi Kim,

Hope you are keeping well!

Excuse my ignorance, and I am sure all the computer nerds will take the p***, but what is "Trolling"

I dont want to fall foul of it by accident and get into trouble with you!
I mean, can I do it without knowing it?
Can it be caught by just looking?
Will it make me go blind if I find I enjoy it?
Worse still, god help me if I come across it in a force 8 !!

So please put me out of my misery and tell me what the hell it is!!

snap, i thought the exact same thing - i have asked all the Alpha Geeks at work and no body has a clue what the hell "Trolling" is!!

It's a seemingly innocent question, designed to get lots of unsuspecting people to reply to it, thus building up a lengthy and completely unneccessary thread.

Only the most gullible fools fall for such a tactic of course, and ....

I have to admit I wondered too so thanks for pointing us to this link, however I can't help thinking that the guy who wrote that lot has got to be either, sad, a**l or just off his head, espescially as he appears to have written it all on Christmas Day!!

Bleeds off the hydraulic pressure so the prop turns slower for a given engine RPM; almost unlimited control of speed down to 0kt. Should be fitted to more motorboats...remember writing the same in 1987 /forums/images/icons/frown.gif!

Oh Dear. Now have to explain what a wiki is.

That wasn't written by one person. It's a wiki site. A wiki is a collaboration where everyone inputs their bit. Bit like a forum of sorts, but with a different aim.

OK, Thanks very much, I now know what trolling is! God I meet people like this every day!! only too happy to waste other peoples time!

Funny that, I think all the boat sales persons at the Excel think all the visitors are trolls!! oops I'm not trolling honest!
