Hi All,

I'm replacing all of the standing rigging on my yacht, (Dufour 1800), most of it is 4mm with the forestay being 5mm.
I've carefully measured each one and asked for quotes from a few suppliers, should I allow for stretch? If so, how much?
I would assume the current stays/shrouds are at least 15 years old.

I've so far had quotes from Southern Rigging Supplies (who are the cheapest), SWR, Jimmy Green, can anyone suggest anyone else?

Any help would be appreciated!

I haven't used them (made up my own ) a friend recommend s3i. You jus t send them your old rig and they match and return both or order over size and DIY the lower end

Ps stretch is approx 1mm per m but if they make your rigging it will fit!

Thanks for that, actually I emailed them last week but haven't had a reply yet.

Best and safest is to send it all off. Don't forget to messure your rack to know you have it set up right after you have changed it
