The first is the stern of Wild Oats the line honours winner. Note the running backstays pulleys attached by rope. Spectra but string all the same.

Next photo is City Index Leopard note the heel before keel is aligned.

Olewill in foreground having the strange halyard spin sheet attachment explained by Mike Slade. That is the squrish knob on the end of the spin sheet attached to the stanchion.

Obviously carbon fibre but that is one skinny looking mast on Leopard. And what a height!

Yes and I unnderstand the balast keel is a similar profile under neath. ie very long and thin. olewill
