Re-prime or not to reprime?

Last year I took the whole of the underwater of the hull back to gelcoat - mind numbing and hard work. Then primed and anti-fouled.

When the boat was lifted at season end, I had it pressure washed. This was done so fiercely, that they lifted little bits of topside gelcoat but also, spots of primer/antifoul.

My debate is whether to reprime again, (it would have to be over antifoul as I haven't time or inclination to strip it back to gelcoat again) or just antifoul, ignoring the spots of 'white' showing through the a/foul? Spots are mostly up to 1 or 1.5m diameter but there are many of them- the big ones, I have re-primed.

Thoughts?

If the pressure wash was as fierce as it sounds then its safe to say the antifoul thats left must be well on so it should be safe to go straight over the top with antifouling without a primer coat. Hopefully you have had the time to repair the gelcoat thats lifted by the pressure washing.
Hope this helps.

No point in priming over the top of A/F unless a change of A/F requires it as a barrier coat.
Prime any bare gelcoat but not bother with tiny spots

I would be most concerned about any gelcoat damage

I think I'd pressure wash any idiot who pressure washed so fiercely that they damaged the gelcoat.

It must have been one hell of a power hose to have taken off good gelcoat, unless dare I say it, they were blisters.

Big industrial job driven by a petrol engine!

Won't be using them again! Gelcoat was ripped off in little stripes about 2" long where they'd had a harder job getting off the 'grass' that grows on the waterline.
