Re: Loch ness monster
A good outfit Caley We went on their "Highland Admiral" the first year they got her in 1972 and had a fantastic week all the way to the top of the "Benhive Locks". Loads of places to go, You have to put your anchor in going astern on to the shore as the loch bottom selves away so steeply and take a line ashore to a handy tree. Take your time in the Canal Locks they are maned so there is always some one to help you and take a line. Then potter as you will be up and down loch Ness in no time at all, but then a blast at full 'T' down the centre is good fun. Also note the change in the canal buoys direction Get the Chart (No 1791) well before you go then you can give it a good studying.
Have fun it's grate place and the locals only drink raw whiskey. Go to the pubs and inns they all stock about 200 or more different Highland "Wines".
