I'm looking at reimporting a classic british boat from the US. Anyone got any experience of this, tips, possible pitfalls, etc.

Thanks Mike, I do intend to go and view the boat. When faced with a "gift horse", I believe you should approach it quietly, talk to it nicely, and take a good long look in it's mouth.

Got a quote from Bruno once for shipping a boat from the USA to here and it was not unreasonable.

What do you call not unreasonable Dom? What size boat? I haven't spoken to Bruno yet, but I spoke to Lucas-Freight of Guernsey. They haven't given me a firm quote but they are ball-parking it above 3K maybe as much as 4K.
