Re fitting spray hood

My new (to me) came with a Spray Hood off the boat (Drascombe Coaster). The cabin top has a continous curved luff type guide to take the bolt rope of the hood. However I cannot work out how to thread the cover into this with the frames in the cover. Do I have to remove / dismantle the pram-like frames from the cover before fitting the bolt rope and then attempt to re fit the pram frame?
Any help guidance appreciated.

With mine you have to slide the sprayhood into the track and then fit the frame tubes into their sleeves then assemble the joints.

Mine also needs the frames fitted later. I usually have to apply some Teflon spray to a couple of corners to get it to run smoothly.
