Thinking of maybe keeping Northy and spending some serious money on her so as to make her a seriously nice vessel.
Idea is a couple of Yanmars
Does anyone have any other suggestions/recommendation to fit a birchwood TS37.

Also is there any Awlgrip specialists in the Hamble area?

There is no problem with the engines at all, but our plan was to fit something with more power. Currently we are 180hp and we want 370hp or there abouts.

The plan is also to paint the entire boat with Awlgrip, Deep red hull with an off white top. Then a nice big teak and stainless bathing platform to replace the smaller origional item and an extra fuel tank to give a little more range.

There was a TS37 in Shamrock Quay that wrecked one of the Mercruiser engines so replaced both with 2 x 250hp Yanmars. They were delighted with the result.

Unfortunately they needed to sell shortky thereafter. It went for the same price as one with the original engines, so only consider this if you wish to keep the boat a long time.
