Can anyone advise me where I might obtain re-arm kits for XM Quickfit Lifejackets?

I appear mis-informed that Seago Yachting took over the business of XM Yachting.

My chandlery supplied a Seago re-arm kit saying it would be fine however it does not suit the firing mechanism.

In response to my enquiry of Seago they advise "we only manufacture and support our own branded lifejackets, we are not qualified to offer technical support on other manufacturers products.

The jackets you refer to are XM quick-fit, but they are unfortunately no longer in business."

Any thoughts anyone - I am reluctant to replace several perfectly fine lifejackets when a gas cylinder is fired (either by accident or for good reason).

Googling xm quickfit rearming kit brings up many suppliers of what look to me like the kits I use, for what IIRC (I'm not on the boat) are XM Quickfit jackets. Do they look different from yours?

Try RT Supplies. The inflating mechanism will be one of a few makes - you need to establish which one and order the parts accordingly. There is some good stuff on YouTube about identifying the mechanism and how to re-arm the jacket. Depends on whether the jacket is manual or auto inflating

Alternatively, take it to a local chandler who should supply you with the appropriate bits.
