Can anyone advise me where I might obtain re-arm kits for XM Quickfit Lifejackets?
I appear mis-informed that Seago Yachting took over the business of XM Yachting.
My chandlery supplied a Seago re-arm kit saying it would be fine however it does not suit the firing mechanism.
In response to my enquiry of Seago they advise "we only manufacture and support our own branded lifejackets, we are not qualified to offer technical support on other manufacturers products.
The jackets you refer to are XM quick-fit, but they are unfortunately no longer in business."
Any thoughts anyone - I am reluctant to replace several perfectly fine lifejackets when a gas cylinder is fired (either by accident or for good reason).
