I have just removed from my new (to me) boat a B&G Homer Marine Radio Receiver and Heron RDF.

Does this have any value anymore? If so I will put on the For Sale pages.

Not sure how old it is but all the parts seem to be in very good condition and the receiver certainly works. The owners handbook gives the B&G phone number as Lymington 4252 which might help to date it!

Any comments gratefully received

I don't think it has a practical value, but when I disposed of mine I salvaged the compass and remounted it, it makes a superb hand bearing device.

Thanks. Pretty much what I was thinking.
I did consider the hand bearing compass idea but mounted next to it in the boat is a Sestrel compass that looks, and works, the same except it has no heavy aerial attached. I also have an Autohelm hand bearing compass anyway!

Anybody interested for £10 donation to the RNLI?

I might be interested, for curiosity's sake.

This is the kind of radio praised by Frank Dyer in his epic Wayfarer voyages.
