RCD/CE requirements for 1991 (apologies if FAQ)

Question about what CE/RCD/Compliance I need for my boat.

--My 1991 vintage yacht was built in Italy by a group that is now part of Ferretti.
--It was bought by the previous owner who was French and he took delivery from new in France.
--He paid VAT in France.
--I bought it from him in August 1998 and brought it to the UK in December (bad weather prevented it being moved in August).
--It is now Part 1 registered in my name in the UK.
--I have a coastal mooring and don't often do rivers though quite fancy the odd trip up the Thames to St Kats or similar type trips.

Nub of the question is what - if any - compliance should / must I ensure for the boat, especially when it comes to resale??

Apologies again if this is a FAQ but haven't seen a singular definitive answer in the press to answer my question.

It was inside the EU on 16 June 1998 by the sound of things so you are exempt. Breathe a sigh of relief.

None.

All that matters is that it was built and/or kept in the EC prior to June 1998. Presumably you must have reasonable proof of that. If there was any question this would probably have been raised when you applied for part 1 registration.
