Hi,
Hs anyone experience of building a vessel under the Historical craft replica as loosly? defined at the RCD Art 1 para 3 e:
"original, and individual replicas of, historical craft designed before 1950, built predominantly with the original materials and labelled as such by the manufacturer".
I am looking at designing and building a replica of a 1920's dutch luxemotor barge which will follow the orginal quite closely - stem shape, counter, cabin aft, wheelhouse aft etc. It will also be build of the same material - steel. And I'll be keeping it for at least 5 years.
It looks as if the buildier can affix a nice brass plaque which reads "RCD Art 1 para 3e exempt".
Any thoughts,
TVMIA.
