19 boats have signed on for the weekend of 16/17th November from RCC moorings for 08.30 dept to up to lock
.Lock keepers have promised to squeeze us in.A few in lock cut, some outside Malta and the trip boat operator "Kentish Lady" has kindly given permission for RCC to use his moorings overnight.
Booked 45 scurvy knaves into Malta for food, start time will have to staggered a bit to get us all in more or less one area.Poss want to keep and eye on us ?
Was going to be following weekend, until some kind soul pointed out that getting 20 odd boats out of the lock and into river was going to mean most coming back down in total darkness due to the tide time.
Having been on cruises with some on them in broad daylight, can see his point.
Yours truly has just invested in a 12V electric blanket for the boat :)

Hopefully nobody will get lost/touch the bottom/hit any debris/bash the bridge at Aylesford
All of them without exception are serious olde salty ancient mariner types with loads of long distance nauctical miles under their keels.....how could anything possibly go wrong ?
As for me .will be keeping well to the rear.
