'Twas the night before Christmas... well, actually about 30 nights before Christmas but, whatever.
The weekend was the Rochester cruising club Christmas shopping trip to Maidstone. Saturday dawned grey, cold and wet but, regardless of the weather, a small band of semi-enthusiastic boaters set out for the trundle up the tidal Medway to savour the delights of Maidstone on the non-tidal river.
Lots of large debris in the river this time, and under OG's lead, we trundled upriver like some sort of timber processing operation, reducing logs and trees to firewood as we went.
We even managed to get a door stuck under the props at one point that was just not visible under the glare and ripple until it was too late.
Still, everyone survived unscathed, no-one broke down, fell in or got lost, it was a good excuse to use the boat again and a good time was had by all.
Even the only Princess, soiling the view of the magnificent Turbo 36's, managed to hold on to its gearboxes long enough to complete the entire trip :)

The sun even appeared for the briefest of moments, albeit hidden by the trees!

you'd gone by when the gentle wash plip plopped.

You sure that was us ?.... there where two brick outhouse Turdoo 36 with all the aero and fluid dynamics of a house brick in our flottila.
As for the "door " incident, I was in a boat where you can actually see out of the front when downstairs and steered round the item concerned.:)

Actually some good pix there Chris, thanks for getting it all together.
