Sailpast arranged to thank our soon to retire Lady Commodore for her efforts over the last Covid plagued years.
Arranged a suprise trip in a local Rib.

Absolute cracking day with about 20 boats making the short trip down to Folly point and back to the club for a buffet.
Plenty to see enroute , the Historic Dockyard was holding 1940s day with barges taking out folks on river trips, even a couple of hover craft and some very very naughty PWCs enjoying our wash.
Gave them a friendly wave of course.

Help the aged ?
............even few old Brooms and their ancient Skippers managed 5 knots for whole hours.
Only one retiree had to be prematurely escorted back to the club house ....Yup it was Broom. Overheating.

Back for refreshments.

This was taken earlier in the week off Dover . A Princess 35 on the final leg of its journey from Fecamp back to the Medway.

Still a bit more cruising planned before the light and the sun goes.
The Medway where it all happens.
