RCC bank holiday cruise to Burnham

A few snaps from the weekend, the RCC invasion to Burnham royal yacht harbour.

Early start on the Friday:

A light, but chilly wind on the journey up

Fantastic hospitality at the BRYC by some frazzled looking staff!

Sunrise on the Monday

And a few of the return journey

A bit snotty on the return leg to start with, but the wind eased as the tide turned

There are even a couple of saily boat things on the fleet!

All in all, another great trip out with RCC.
Apparently it was a fairly typical cruise, windy, cold, half the fleet broke down and somebody fell in But a fantastic time was had by all

Feel certain that the "Essex Breeze" usually blowing around F6-7 constanly from the north in that part of the world is a bit of the planet that global warming has sadly missed. ?
