Rays\'n Channel - an answer for alldownwind

Well not really an answer but....

Visited the 'new' yellow pillar buoy at the NW edge of thw Swire Hole. Yes its there, as charted. Difficult to see from a distance as its only 5ft high - and a pillar. The cross topmark is sort of integrated with the top so that doesn't stand out. It has an Environment Agency label on it - No 19 as well and looks as though its there for data. Don't know why I say that as its just a buoy - but I reckon there's something on the seabed. Its in 20ft of water at LW today. Useful I guess if you are going from the Rays'n to the Wallet - leave the Buxey to starboard (well to starboard - there wasn't a lot of water within half a mile of it) and this one to port and you fetch the Knoll - well ish, you do.

I have a feeling that this was not one of my really useful days work....
