We have a Raymarine transducer wired to an ITC5 which feeds an i70s display. Wind speed, boat speed and depth also come through the ITC5 and are fine, but the wind direction is broken in an odd way - the AWS won't register on the port side, if we're on a port tack, the indicator stays somewhere on the stbd side. When we're on a stbd tack, it seems to give reasonable readings. I tested the output voltages of the transducer at the ITC5 at anchor and they are within spec.

Is there anything else that could be failing here apart from the transducer? Any other tests I could do?

Bearings?
I read a long time ago that these type of faults could be caused by excessive play in the bearings. Something to do with the gap / proximity of the pickups changing depending on what tack you're on. No personal experience of this fault but I read it somewhere when trying to research a different fault on mine.
It may have been more to do with the speed than the direction though I can't remember.
