There’s something screwy going on with my WheelPilot and I‘m at a complete loss how to fix it,
After a couple of hours of normal functioning, the wheel mechanism started to make an awful clacking sound. I’m guessing, from the sound of it that its the teeth on the belt slipping over the drive cog. Tightening the clutch knob, made it worse not better. So, I loosened off until the belt started slippping without making a noise (motor turning but wheel not moving). Then I tightened up again 4 clicks at a time - as per the manual. Same problem again, the dreadful clacking sound returned.
I‘m starting to suspect that the clutch lever isn’t fully engaging the belt on the cog drive - t phe lever doesn’t engage firmly. But there are no adjustments for the lever itself.
Has anyone experienced this and come up with a fix?
