Raymarine type 2 hydraulic linear drive, hydraulic oil selection

Got to get some spare oil for my hydraulic drive, Raymarine manual quotes a

Hydraulic fluid Mineral based hydraulic oil:
• minimum ISO VG10
• maximum ISO VG40

Can get a ISO 15 oil or a ISO 32 oil locally, any recommendations on which to go for?

Or can anyone give me a manufactures oil spec, oil name, etc which I can do a search on based on what someone has used before

I'd choose ISO 15 over 30. Doesn't really matter whos name is on the lable.

+1 for the ISO 15 or just use ATF Dexron II like the rest of us, plus its red colour makes leak finding simpler.

I bought 5l of "T10" hydraulic oil to top-up the reservoir on the Raymarine steering system fitted to my Oceanis 361. This was the fluid specified in the manual and it's very "thin".

I still have about 4.95 litres left!

How much do you need?
