Just for info if anyone is thinking of changing their electronics.

I used this offer the last time it was presented to consumers. I was looking for a new plotter and it allowed me to upgrade to a larger screen than I otherwise could.

Briefly got excited by this because I have some instruments to trade in, but then realised that the offer is 20% off RRP and it would seem that the cheaper retailers are already selling i70s below that (but I'm sure it'll be a fine starting point for a discussion at the boat show next week...)

Thats the trouble with American owned companies, they din’t understand the free market. In the States they set the MSRP so these offers make sense. In the free world retailers have already discounted so the offers are less attractive. Unfortunately they can’t undercut the retailers either
