I am trying to get the NMEA output from my ST60 Multi connected to my CP300 plotter. Have tried all the connections and configurations detailed in the manuals with no sucess. Has anyone got this combination to work. The ST60 and Standard Horizon VHF are picking up the Furuno GPS OK.

I would try RAYMARINE Technical but I think you may find that the ST60 is limited in the NMEA sentences it outputs .. It only outputs 6

Depth DBT
Heading, deviation and variation HDG
Magnetic heading HDM
Water temperature MTW
Water speed and heading VHW
Wind speed and angle MWV

A lot depends what you are trying to achieve ..

If you are looking for position information then its not
available ..

Not quite sure what you are trying to achieve – why not connect both direct to the Furuno? I connected an ST60 multi and a Lowrance 3500 to a GP31 and both display the data from the gps.

The plotter can display and trend depth and wind data. The ST60s are in the cockpit. I was hoping to display depth and wind speed within sight of my bunk. Hopefully it would save getting out of my warm bunk on a wild Scottish night when the boat is shearing about on the anchor and the tide is falling.
