We have the ST6002 autopilot consisting of the Lewmar drive unit, the control head in the cockpit and the control box buried under the instrument panel. The pilot is about 7 years old and works well. Lately the control box has started buzzing when we run the engine. It sounds like it could be a relay chattering but before I pull the control box out and try and disassemble it, does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be?
