Raymarine ST60 instruments - temporary loss of power and then intermittent loss of data

Can anyone help please? I suffered a complete loss of power to my suite of cockpit ST60 instruments (Smart Pilot, Speed, Depth, Wind). I tried the normal power off, power on - no good. After 15 minutes they came back on, but with no data to provide SOG. Also a "No Data" message on the Smart Pilot when I tried to "Track to a Waypoint".
The added mystery was that the two ST60 gauges down below (Smart Pilot and Multi) did not suffer the loss of power. NB A single switch controls all 6 instruments.
I am trying to work out how JUST the cockpit ones failed, and why when they came back on, I still had a partial data failure.
At all times my Raymarine Axiom plotter worked fine (but with no depth or SOG showing).
12 hours later I powered them up normally everything was back to normal.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Or can you suggest where I should check for a loose connection(s).
Thank you. Mark

ST60 displays are daisy chained together for power and data. Check all connectors & connections to all devices. It sounds that somewhere along the chain there is a bad connection. Red is power, yellow data & black ground.

Thank you very much Angus - that is very helpful and what another engineer told me earlier. I will do that. Handy knowing the colours too. Mark

Give all the connectors a squirt of contact cleaner while you're going through them. Gently work the connector on and off the terminals a few times after spraying.
Thank you very much Mike - it looks like this is where the problem is - and I have learnt where all my wiring is! Mark
