Morning all,

Our current boat has a Raymarine C80 plotter and an analogue radar all linked to Raymarine ST60 instruments (speed, wind, depth) and also the ST6002 auto helm.

We are possibly going to upgrade the radar and chart plotter and wonder if the newer Raymarine plotters will still interface with the existing sensors and displays? Reason for this would be to get a more efficient and better radar as well as a newer and more effective chart plotter.

Regards

For the st60s it's a yes. The box masterofnone refers to is this one:

I'm using it with ST50s which aren't officially supported but everything seatalk->seatalkng seems to work with the only problem being the off course indicator not working properly when my new evolution autopilot is engaged, but that involves conversions the other way (stng->st1). Your ST60s are listed as supported.

That leaves your autopilot. Unfortunately I can't comment on that as, like masterofnone, I'm using a STNG autopilot. A quick google suggests that originally the converter box didn't support old autopilots but now it does:

Also worth googling threads on here and the raymarine forum which discuss the E22158 and older autopilots
