The original and rather bulky gps antenna for my set up suffered a blow and the antenna wire and cap have been broken - the plastic cover was already cracked and very brittle . I have been thinking how to repair it as it is still working without the wire but all the plastic is very brittle - its unlikely to work for long. What's the best replacement. I'd prefer not to use an NMEA set up. I have a spare Garmin antenna (20 years old ) would that work for Raymarine?
The other issue is that I have a 2 station plotter set up but the chart table display is not receiving information from the chart card in the cockpit display.
