Raymarine rl70c help needed

My unit freezes and won't switch off it also keeps rebooting every couple of minutes I have a small video of the problem but don't know how to post so if anyone could help I could email it to you

I had a similar problem with my C70 .... when I added a new Navionics chart. I had to get a update for the Raymarine software that was incompatible with the new charts.

I suspect that your unit is failing to boot for some reason.

Check an under voltage on the supply side. Less fixable may be an open circuit on the RAM chips.

I have sent the small clip to raymarine the repeater at the helm seems to be ok but keeps saying radar not responding when main unit resets this unit was working fine till I left it on and went for a coffee and came back about an hour later, I Had the shore power connected while I was away with battery's charging as normal

I have the RL70CRC plotter and radar. Mine started having screen blanks and rebooting. I was advised that dampness can be an issue so I dried it out in the airing cupboard - the problem went away. It might be worth a try.

Hi thanks robih I have just had a reply from raymarine saying it might need a software update does anyone on the forum know if there's a way of doing this yourself
