I have bought an old but functioning Raymarine RC400 hand held chart plotter. It has a Compact Flash (CF) card containing (2009) Navionics charts for the west of England. Is it possible to buy charts for the rest of the UK?
I have looked online and see that there are second-hand CF cards for sale but no mention of how old they are. I have also seen that I can buy an updater card but it looks like it will only update the west coast charts I already have and it's not entirely clear that it will be compatible with such an old plotter. I may also be able to take the card into Force 4 chandlers and have it updated. Does anyone else use such old technology successfully?
