RAYMARINE/RAYTHEON

I have a Raytheon Pathfinder RL70 Radar/GPS about 5/6 years old. Cannot see anyone selling this but it looks a lot like Raymarine. So I wondered whether Raytheon had changed their trading name to Raymarine?

Yes, Raymarine were a management buy-out of the leisure business from Raytheon IIRC

...after Raytheon bought out Autohelm, it's just gone round in a full circle with the UK end picking up all Raytheon's marine radar experience!

I have exactly the same equipment on my boat - I am told that they no longer make thatrange, but youcan still find some 'new' units in stock if you look around.

I was thinkin of upgrading it, but decidedto leave it for now.
