Raymarine radar and classic vs c90w MFD

Hello
l was thinking of upgrading my classic C70 to a c90w unit, but does anyone know if l can plug in the current radar in to the c90w unit? Are the end fittings the same!

Hi, no is the short answer.

The classics use the old radar which is a large ish cable with a black molded plug on the end.

The wide screens use the later digital raydome these connect via ethernet plugs with screw down shrouds.

The raydome look very similar except for the sticker on the back that says digital. Almost the same on the inside too except for the interface card.

I have both of them on the shelf at work the digital one has a knackered comms card which is pretty common I'm told.

I think completely different technology so unlikely any interface

There is not, they are not compatible.
