I can't seem to get the tide (blue) or cog (red) vectors on my E80.
I get the wind (yellow) and heading (green).
Very occasionally I get a message up that says "heading not available" however on he multi graphic display at the chart table I get heading and COG.
I've been through he settings on the E80 and they are all turned on.
Any ideas please.

E80 problem

From using my friend's E80 system I believe the green vector is COG. If you are getting wind (yellow vector) and boat speed through the water via seatalk then the blue 'tide' vector (Raymarine call it 'drift' as it includes leeway and tide) should work as those are all the numbers needed to calculate it. I always thought fluxgate compass heading was represented by the orientation of the boat position triangle - unless the red vector you mention is a projection of this?

COG is green.
Heading is red.

COG is coming from GPS.
Heading is coming from Fluxgate usually via autopilot.

If the boat is not moving (or no log) the heading line may not be present. You need to make sure heading is turned on to infinite length if you want to see it at all times.

I've selected heading to go in the data bar. All I get is 3 dashes, so I guess heading is not available.
I presume heading comes from the fluxgate compass.
Does this mean there is a problem with it?
When I use the "track" function on the auto pilot it seems to navigate to the right place.
