My Raymarine plotter ( I forget the model but it's a 7" screen about 8 years old, Navionics gold ) had a plug built onto the co-ax from the antenna.
This has been pulled off in travels to and from the boat - one of the hazards of theft prevention - and seems to be an odd connector; small central pin and a long thin crimped barrel to take the shielding, it has a thread to engage on the plotter unit.
I have tried our local very helpful old style TV repair shop with limited results, something I might be able to bodge I suppose.
While I wait for Monday morning to call Raymarine, does anyone have any magic answers or tips please ?
