Raymarine now have replacement curly cable for 230E VHF handset

My 2nd handset's curly cable has degraded. Previously I was told that Raymarine no long had replacements for this cable so I was faced with buying a new VHF simply because of lack of cable.

Went to boat show and Raymarine man says that they now can replace the curly cable. Has to be cheaper than a new VHF! Handset is now in the post

A new 240E radio with first handset is £515 and the £249 for the second station. A repair surely must be cheaper!
