A few months ago I noticed that when I switched the instruments on, the nm log wouldn't read the same as when I'd left it. There was a week last Autumn when she apparently travelled over 10,000 nm without me. Some joyride, methinks.
Last weekend we sailed over to France and back - and on the return passage, despite the hull impeller having registered a fair boat speed all the way, the log changed... not one mile.
Could anyone suggest what might be going on?
I'm hardly averse to fiddling - did a degree in electronics 25 years ago - but this one beats me unless I'm going to strip everything onto a test bench and give up the day job!
