Hi, I'm new here and I'm hoping someone might be able to help with a query.
I have just fitted a GyroPlus 2 to my boat using the existing fluxgate compass for the ST4000 tiller pilot. I bought the unit secondhand but it didn't have any of the original wiring with it. It all seems to be working fine but I notice that some photos of the original kit show a loose ferrite with it.
So, does anybody know if this unit should have a ferrite and where it should be fitted? There is no dedicated power supply cable as I'm powering from the seatalk connection. I've tried looking in the manual and contacting Raymarine but no joy.
