Raymarine equipment

Hi was wondering if the Raymarine products in the U.S were compatible with the ones on sale through out Europe,is there a catch with the prices or is there a warranty issue as there rangeof Navigation system seem cheap compared with the U.K /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have bought almost all of my Raymarine equipment in the USA. I have receive everything in OK condition and once when Radar antenna didnt work properly I send it in UK Raymarine where they change it for new one as it was in guarantee period. Everything best for Raymarine.
So there is no need to buy equipment with higher prices.

Watch for import duty/VAT and shipping, though. It may not be as cheap as you think...

Not sure your suspicions were actually confirmed. As Wiggo pointed out, by the time shipping charges, import duty and VAT have been added, there's little (if any) difference between prices. Which navigation system did you think would be cheaper?
